Customer Service/Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to the Service Technicians. Their duties include greeting customers and helping them determine repairs and relevant costs, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about Boss Shops range of services and contacting customers to update them about their vehicle’s repair status.

What You Will Do

Greets customers promptly and provides friendly competent customer service. Coordinates the service center’s scheduling and workflow. Service writes for the location including but not limited to, creating estimates and work orders, finalizing payments, following all cash handling policies, and parts order and collecting for all jobs.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license and insurable to drive
• Retail or guest service experience preferred
• Able to maintain working knowledge of parts inventory
• Able to complete the Service Advisor New Team Member Training within the first 90 days of employment
• Able to work on the computer system efficiently
• Ability to read, write and perform math skills
• Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, may require weekends and evenings
• Must have reliable transportation and phone
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
