Customer Solution Director

The Customer Solution Director plays a key role within Syntax’s SAP Pre-Sales practice, with a primary focus on Manufacturing opportunities. This role leads the presales cycle from a solution and services design perspective, partnering closely with Sales leaders, Solution Architects, Manufacturing leaders, and industry specialists to develop tailored application management solutions.

Lead presales activities for assigned Manufacturing opportunities, maintain a consistent client presence throughout the sales cycle, participate in opportunity reviews, and contribute to solution strategy and positioning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of functional SAP consulting experience in Manufacturing
• Experience supporting SAP projects in complex enterprise environments
• Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, RFP responses, and services-based solution selling
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and related modernization initiatives
• Ability to lead client workshops, site visits, and executive-level presentations
• Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to understand client needs and respond effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Strong client focus, with an emphasis on service quality, responsiveness, and long-term relationships
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify challenges and develop effective responses
• Experience collaborating across sales, presales, delivery, and support teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in proposal and presentation development
