Role OverviewAs a Customs Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, your job is to optimize logistics to keep our global supply chains running smoothly. Your expertise makes both special and ordinary moments possible for people around the world. You will provide outstanding customer service by completing all tasks and responsibilities related to customs entry transactions.
What You Will Do
Process shipments within department guidelines, classify goods according to customer SOP's, check CargoWise 'buckets' daily, document review and assessment for accuracy, and communicate entry # and entry status to carrier.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 2+ years' experience in Customs Clearance for Road and Railways transportation
- Working knowledge of Cargo Wise
- Knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities along with basic knowledge of U.S. Regulatory Laws
- Basic knowledge of INCO terms, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Customs regulations and other government agency requirements
