Job Description
The Contemporary Writing and Production Department at Berklee is seeking a CWP Music Preparation Tutor to provide peer mentoring to students in music preparation and notation software.

Requirements

  • Be a Contemporary Writing and Production Major student in good academic standing.
  • Successful completion of CW-211: Advanced Ensemble Writing and the CW-496: Score and Parts Preparation Proficiency.
  • Significant experience in music preparation in digital and physical formats.
  • In-depth knowledge of professional notation software, particularly Finale and/or Sibelius.
  • Good interpersonal, teaching, and communication skills.
  • Strong interest in teaching and learning, learning styles, learning disabilities, and special needs.
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of a diverse student population with particular attention to academic skills and special needs.
