Role Overview

The Cyber Crime Initiative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Digital Evidence Laboratory (DEL) and assist in the performance of duties related to cyber-crime initiatives.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities will include coordinating DEL quality and training initiatives, working as a core team member organizing the National Cyber Crime Conference, and serving as a liaison between National Cyber Crime Conference staff and sponsors and attendees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree, or an equivalent combination of related education and/or prior administrative experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Effective professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess the ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making
  • A high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Experience or interest in digital forensics or criminal investigations is helpful
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Candidates must be willing to travel anywhere in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to perform the responsibilities of this position
  • Prior experience in event planning and/or work in a forensic lab setting is desirable
