Role OverviewA Cybersecurity Analyst II is responsible for protecting Versant Power's computer network and systems from cyber-attacks. This involves staying current on upcoming IT trends, creating contingency plans, examining data to identify suspicious activity and threats.
What You Will Do
Monitor computer networks and systems for threats and security breaches, examining reports, data and analytics to identify suspicious activities and threats, and implementing threat protection measures and security controls.

Requirements
- Associate's degree with a preference towards a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
- Over 2 years of experience in information security or related field
- Experience with computer networks, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft OS, Linux and Mobile Device Management
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, VPN's, MFA, SIEM, antivirus, patching and IDPS concepts
- Ability to think critically and innovatively about the security solutions that can keep data safe while still allowing a business to flourish
- Strong customer service ethic, and the ability to work independently or in teams, with minimal or no supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Project Management experience is helpful
