Role OverviewPeraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Software Engineer to support our Atlantis Program contract at the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) facility in San Diego, CA. As the Sub contractor on the Atlantis task order, Peraton is responsible for supporting a Multi-level Security (MLS) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) system providing situational tracking and management capabilities, full message processing tools, and a variety of analysis utilities, along with office, e-mail, chat, and web browsing applications.
What You Will Do
Support tasks to continue current operations, support the planned growth as determined by life cycle support, maintenance and sustainment, system administration support, upgrade and logistics support of the ATLANTIS system, networked and deployed globally in support of U.S. Sponsors.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience with system installation/configuration and/or basic programming skills, proficiency in Linux Operating systems and shell scripting, and strong programming skills in C/C++, Golang, Python, and Java.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Basic experience with system installation/configuration and/or basic programming skills
- Minimum SECRET Clearance and must be able to obtain TOP SECRET and SCI access
- US Citizenship is required
- Proficient in Linux Operating systems and shell scripting
- Strong Programming skills in C/C++, Golang, Python, and JAVA
- Experience with Software development tools and practices (e.g., Gitlab, CI/CD)
Benefits
- Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000
- Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
