Role Overview

The Cybersecurity Analyst Intern will assist the Cybersecurity Governance team in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policy, managing enterprise risk, and supporting security audits. The intern will also learn how to use a broad suite of security tools and contribute to keeping TxDOT safe from cyber threats.

What You Will Do

The intern will develop plans to safeguard computer configuration and data files, participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, design and deploy security applications and infrastructure, and assist in monitoring and analyzing security events.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an engineering or related science degree program in an accredited college or university accepted by TX PELS
  • Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education
  • Must have a valid driver's license (for employees at least 18 years of age)
