Role OverviewThe Cybersecurity Analyst Intern will assist in protecting TxDOT from cybersecurity attacks, learning security tools, and keeping the organization safe from cyber threats. The intern will work in the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) at TxDOT's Stassney campus in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate is a college student pursuing a degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
What You Will Do
The intern will assist in monitoring and analyzing security events, design and automate security applications, and support security assessments and vulnerability reviews. They will also work with technical teams to resolve non-standard issues and learn agency standards and best practices.

Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering or related science degree program in an accredited college or university accepted by TX PELS
- Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school, IN TEXAS
- Employees at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license may be assigned driving duties and may use power tools
