Role OverviewThe Cybersecurity Analyst Intern will assist the risk team in protecting TxDOT's systems and data from cyber threats. The intern will conduct security assessments, develop configuration baselines, and learn how to use a broad suite of security tools. The ideal candidate is a college student pursuing a career in cybersecurity.
What You Will Do
The intern will assist in monitoring and analyzing security events, design and deploy security applications, and support security assessments and vulnerability reviews. The intern will also work with technical teams to resolve non-standard issues and learn agency standards and best practices.

Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an engineering or related science degree program in an accredited college or university accepted by TX PELS.
- Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
- Must pass a drug test prior to employment for safety impact positions.
