Role OverviewWe are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team supporting the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) at their Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory site. This position is full-time and will be based out of West Mifflin, PA or Niskayuna, NY with hybrid flexibility. The Cybersecurity Analyst will support cybersecurity activities for NNL information systems and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP).
What You Will Do
The Cybersecurity Analyst will execute cybersecurity activities in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) directives and requirements. They will support implementation and execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) throughout the information system authorization process. The Analyst will also assist Information System Owners (ISOs) with the development, review, and maintenance of System Security Plans (SSPs).

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance
- Active DOE 'L' Clearance or DOD 'Secret' clearance (highly desired)
- Minimum of four years of combined cybersecurity experience in one or more of the following roles: Security Control Validator, Security Control Assessor (SCA), Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Information System Security Manager (ISSM)
- Minimum of two years of experience supporting the development of information system security authorization packages in accordance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification
