Role OverviewThe Cybersecurity Engineer supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will implement and maintain the security and integrity of information systems and networks, identify and resolve moderately complex issues, and develop and collect artifacts to document compliance for cybersecurity controls.
What You Will Do
The Cybersecurity Engineer will implement and maintain the security and integrity of information systems and networks, identify and resolve moderately complex issues, develop and collect artifacts to document compliance for cybersecurity controls, participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment, and provide computer forensic and intrusion support to high-technology investigations.

This position requires a strong understanding of network architecture, the ability to prepare, objectively review, and deliver technical presentations, and experience interfacing with senior Air Force and/or DoD customers. The candidate should have experience supporting NC3 mission systems/subsystems, experience with Xacta, and 2 years of Cybersecurity or Project Management experience or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Requirements
- Must have an active Top Secret Clearance
- Certification Requirements: Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE or higher)
- Must have 1 year of directly related experience
- Must have 1 year of general work experience
- Must possess a general understanding of network architecture
- Must have the ability to prepare, objectively review, and deliver technical presentations
- Must understand NIST standards
- NISSC II experience
