Role OverviewCastalia Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to work within the Security Engineering domain and as a part of the larger enterprise engineering effort. The successful candidate will operate within a custom, air gapped, Department of Defense IT network daily to perform advanced support and direct deployment of new capabilities.
What You Will Do
Perform duties and responsibilities such as creating and presenting materials to convey concepts and ideas to a wide range of audiences, interfacing with other teams to help define, determine and implement cyber risk posture, and creating and following system documentation, schematics and operational guides and procedures.

A qualified candidate will have a solid background in Systems Administration using Linux and Windows desktop and server operating systems, Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and proficient knowledge of Enterprise Identity Management applications and design.
Requirements
- Solid background in Systems Administration using Linux and Windows desktop and server operating systems (Windows 11/Server 2022/RHEL)
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification e.g. CISSP and/or Security+
- Proficient knowledge of Enterprise Identity Management applications and design including: LDAP (e.g. Active Directory), PKI, Experience with common VMware products (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)
