Job Description
The Cyto Preparatory Tech processes gynecologic, non-gynecologic and fine needles aspiration biopsy samples for microscopic evaluation and interpretation. Responsibilities include centrifugation, cytocentrifugation, staining and cover slipping, as well as solving problems with patient and/or specimen identification.

Requirements

  • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A
  • Surepath Prep Certification preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of laboratory experience in centrifugation, dilutions, cytocentrifugation, staining, cover slipping, solution making, pipetting and filtering
  • High School or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science or related field
