Job Description
The Director of Risk Management and Nursing oversees the organization’s risk management program while providing leadership and direction for nursing services. This position ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, promotes patient safety, reduces organizational risk exposure, and supports high-quality clinical care delivery.

Requirements

  • Oversees or participates in policy, procedure, and processes development.
  • Support nursing staff company wide.
  • Serves on development teams, proposes drafts, and/or reviews current policies to recommend changes.
  • Develops economic demographic, business, and sociological forecasts to support development of plans and strategies.
  • Coordinates project activities and perform research, evaluation and analysis of operational issues.
  • Participates in development of long-term plans, programs, and strategy.
  • Directs the development of standards and procedures to be used in project development and implementation.
  • Plans, develops, implements and maintains a system designed to coordinate and provide continuous and systematic evaluations for programs or initiatives.
