Job Description
Dabri, Inc. is seeking an ICC Certified Inspector to support future public sector construction projects throughout California. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of construction practices, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and agency representatives.

Requirements

  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and approved documents for compliance with the International Building Code (IBC), local ordinances, and project requirements.
  • Identify code issues prior to construction and coordinate with project teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform on-site inspections at various construction stages including foundations, framing, structural components, and final completion.
  • Verify materials, workmanship, installation methods, and sequencing meet approved plans and applicable codes.
  • Inspect structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems based on certification.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, field notes, and deficiency notices.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and photographic documentation.
  • Track corrective actions and verify resolution of non-conforming work.
  • Serve as a liaison between contractors, architects, engineers, and owners.
  • Clearly communicate inspection findings, code requirements, and corrective measures.
  • Participate in project meetings as needed to support compliance and quality objectives.
