Dairy/Frozen Manager

The Dairy/Frozen Manager is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of the dairy/frozen department. They will train, direct, and monitor all department staff, and are required to fulfill the duties of the Manager on Duty (MOD) on a scheduled basis.

What You Will Do

Main responsibilities include providing world-class customer service, managing margin, COGS, and overall department profitability, ensuring in-stock products meet company standards, and training and monitoring department personnel.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• 1-2 years of experience in retail, preferably in a grocery or retail environment
• 1-2 years of experience supervising others
• Ability to pass food safety training courses and maintain compliance
• Ability to manage changing priorities and stay focused
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to take direction and follow through
• Must be cashier trained and able to count currency
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
