Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for the instruction, progress, and discipline of all pupils in assigned classes, under the supervision of the school principal. The role involves instructional planning, implementing teaching methods, and maintaining accurate records of pupils' achievements. The teacher will also participate in programs to improve student attendance, promote anti-vandalism, and encourage student growth in self-discipline and positive self-concept.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the role include providing written lesson plans, establishing positive learning expectation standards, and evaluating pupils' progress. The teacher will also implement instructional methods, apply knowledge of the curriculum content, and maintain accurate attendance records and seating charts.

Requirements
- Successful completion of all student teaching requirements as well as all course work required to obtain the appropriate teaching certificate(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
- Possession of at least one of the following valid teaching licenses issued by the Illinois State Board of Education: Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS), properly endorsed for this position
