Job Description
The Florida Department of Revenue invites applications for a Data Analyst position in the Office of Inspector General. The incumbent will assist in determining data analytics for audit and advisory engagements, and will be responsible for data analysis, reporting, and communication. The position requires at least two years of professional experience in research, analysis, or conducting audits, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Requirements

  • At least two years of professional experience in research, analysis, data analysis, or conducting audits
  • Knowledge of standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors
  • Knowledge of the methods and tools for data collection and analysis
  • Ability to analyze and utilize applicable laws, rules, policies and procedures relating to the Department
  • Ability to organize data into logical format for presentations in reports, documents, and other written materials
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  • Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word and Excel)
