Job Description
The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is recruiting a Data Analyst to perform research, create reports, and contribute to policy briefs and/or memos to identify trends and analyze data to ensure accuracy of results. The successful candidate will contribute to research pilot programs aimed at outreach efforts and collect and analyze data to make internal units more effective and efficient.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological or environmental science or in public health
  • One year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity in the appropriate field of specialization
  • Three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization
  • Two years as a City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for the experience required
