Role Overview

The Data Analyst will assist with data analysis to support the Transit Signal Priority (TSP) program, collaborating with internal and external agency staff to develop future priority corridors, monitor and evaluate performance, and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness. The role involves working in a high-profile, fast-paced public sector environment with a team dedicated to improving safety, accessibility, and mobility throughout New York City.

What You Will Do

The candidate will perform quantitative analysis with public transit data, design aptitude, and problem-solving skills. They will also deliver presentations and assist with other data-driven assignments related to Real Time Passenger Information, automated enforcement, bus shelters, and bus stops.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above
  • High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above
  • Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' or '2' above
