Job Description
Join HDR's Building Engineering Services team in Denver, Colorado as a Data Center Assistant Project Manager. Assist project managers in coordinating design teams and delivering projects from initiation to completion. Must have a strong desire to mentor and train younger staff, with a focus on organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration. Experience in mission critical environment and previous Data Center/Mission Critical experience in an architectural/engineering, or engineering consulting firm is desired.

Requirements

  • Support project managers in coordinating design teams and delivering projects from initiation to completion
  • Mentor and train younger staff
  • Maintain client relationships and manage team members through all phases of the project
  • Coordinate and work closely with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, marketing members, and all other team members
  • Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
  • Implement QA/QC procedures
  • Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Coordinate work and maintain relationship with subconsultants
  • Perform other duties as needed
