Job Description
Zenlayer Inc. is looking for a Data Center Engineer to station at its data center in Downtown Los Angeles. The job requires physical strength and shift flexibility to accommodate full IDC service coverage.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge with servers and network hardware/components
  • Experience with copper and fiber infrastructure installations and testing
  • Data center product support applications, software (Windows, Linux, SSH, RDP, Putty, etc.) configurations and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) related tools
  • Ability to use IDC hand tools
  • Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights from a ladder and in noisy or confined space
  • Ability to travel 20%+ of time when required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvements
