Requirements

• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex device and network issues
• Uplink Racks: Skilled in executing rack uplinks always using best practices
• Fiber Specifications and Connector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various fiber specifications and connector types
• Ethernet Cabling/Cat 6 Cabling: Specific knowledge of Cat 6 cabling, including its specifications and common applications
• Self-Managing and Self-Directing: Demonstrates a high level of autonomy, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing their time effectively
• Cross-Training: Actively participates in cross-training initiatives across different areas and sites
• Communication and Collaboration: Tech 2’s have the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely
• Knowledge of Device and DC Topology: Possesses a strong understanding of network device topology, enabling them to visualize and troubleshoot network layouts
• Time Management: Exhibits excellent time management skills, ensuring projects are completed efficiently
• Knowledge Sharing and Training Capabilities: Committed to knowledge sharing, actively contributing to team learning, and capable of training less experienced personnel
• Relevant Certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA Server+ or CCNA can be beneficial for validating skills
