Job Description
We are seeking a highly competent and self-sufficient infrastructure technician to join our team as a Data Center Repair Technician - Tier 2. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of standard cabling, environmental awareness, and safety protocols, and be proficient in utilizing all essential internal tooling applications for various operational needs.

Requirements

  • Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex device and network issues
  • Uplink Racks: Skilled in executing rack uplinks using best practices
  • Fiber Specifications and Connector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various fiber specifications and connector types
  • Ethernet Cabling/Cat 6 Cabling: Specific knowledge of Cat 6 cabling and its specifications
  • Self-Managing and Self-Directing: Demonstrates a high level of autonomy and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Cross-Training: Actively participates in cross-training initiatives across different areas and sites
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely
  • Knowledge of Device and DC Topology: Strong understanding of network device topology and DC topology
  • Time Management: Exhibits excellent time management skills and ensures projects are completed efficiently
  • Knowledge Sharing and Training Capabilities: Committed to knowledge sharing and capable of training less experienced personnel
