Role OverviewHDR is seeking a Site Civil Engineer for our Building Engineering Services Business Group in Denver, CO. This role is part of an integrated facility and infrastructure design team consisting of core services of Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Site Civil Engineering. The person will be responsible for the design of facility-related sites in support of Mission Critical buildings and infrastructure.
What You Will Do
Contribute to the development of civil engineering scope of work and budgets for proposals, serve as Engineer of Record on non-complex projects, coordinate with internal and external resources for due diligence, develop concept site layouts compliant with jurisdictional requirements, coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction, assist with community outreach, attend client meetings, transition concept plans through schematic and construction design, coordinate with subconsultants, design and produce plan sets, details, specifications, and cost estimates, perform calculations for site development, author reports, use engineering judgment, manage time and multiple tasks, communicate with managers and team members, pursue efficiencies, mentor junior staff, and advocate for HDR and the BES Business Group.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in general civil engineering
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
