Job Description
Data Engineer at Shipium. Build and maintain data pipelines, power Shipping AI, optimize performance, ensure reliability, and innovate processes using modern engineering practices. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Airflow, dbt, and Amazon Redshift.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience building orchestration workflows (Airflow preferred) and data transformations (dbt)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Amazon Redshift) and data lakes (AWS S3)
  • Familiarity with DuckDB, pandas, Jupyter, UNIX shell scripting, and Git
  • A solid understanding of dimensional modeling and comfort-building data infrastructure that supports AI workloads
  • 2–4 years of related experience in a data engineering role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
