Job Description

As the Data Processor 3 with DNRC’s Water Rights Bureau in Helena, you will play a key role in ensuring water rights data is accurate, complete, and readily accessible for decision-makers and the public.

Requirements

  • Compile, organize, and verify the accuracy and completeness of water rights and related data.
  • Run scheduled reports to support staff, management, and program needs.
  • Monitor and track data from initial collection through quality review to ensure it is processed correctly.
  • Retrieve and provide data in response to internal and external requests.
  • Import electronic files from scanners and digital sources into agency systems using established software and procedures.
  • Document research, data corrections, and processing steps so records are clear, consistent, and auditable.
