Role OverviewAs a Database Administrator supporting CIS, you will sustain and enhance enterprise grade database services that underpin critical applications across multiple environments. You will manage clustered and standalone SQL platforms, optimize performance, enforce secure configurations, and ensure high availability and data integrity.
What You Will Do
Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise SQL Server clustered platforms and standalone databases, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot SQL related issues across infrastructure, application, and storage layers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You will have hands-on experience with SQL Server administration, clustering, high availability, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and DR/COOP operations. Strong understanding of database security, STIG compliance, access control, and change management.
Requirements
- 8 + years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree
- Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, etc.)
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph
- US citizenship required
