Role OverviewThe Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for managing and maintaining the CSSP's databases. This role involves ensuring the performance, availability, and security of databases. The DBA will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
What You Will Do
Install, configure, and maintain database servers and processes, monitor system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Manage database backup and recovery, administer database security, create and maintain users and roles, and assign privileges.

Requirements
- Clearance Level: Secret with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret (TS)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II and DoD 8140 CSSP Auditor compliant certifications
- Proficiency in database management systems (DBMS) including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with database design and architecture for on-premises and cloud deployments
- Knowledge of database backup and recovery, database security, and disaster recovery techniques
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization
- Strong experience with AWS RDS sustainment
- Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
- Strong understanding of SQL and database scripting
- Experience with database monitoring tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong documentation skills
