Role OverviewWe're looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join a U.S.-based client in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience supporting Oracle databases in production environments, excellent SQL skills, and a solid understanding of database performance, migration, and ETL processes.
What You Will Do
Provide day-to-day production support and administration of Oracle databases, monitor database health, availability, performance, and capacity, troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and production issues.

Requirements
- Advanced English level at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or C1 (Advanced), with the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Native Spanish or Portuguese language.
- 3+ years of professional experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with significant experience in production support.
- Strong knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language), including querying, creating, modifying, and managing database structures.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c–19c.
- Experience with Oracle database upgrades, particularly from 12c to 19c, is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in database performance tuning, including SQL queries, indexes, and server/database configuration.
- Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/Postgres SQL.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with MongoDB.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a distributed, international environment.
