Job Description
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is seeking a Project Management professional to join the Database Administration team and support data-driven public health IT initiatives. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in database administration and management, as well as strong knowledge of SQL Server, PowerShell, and IT security practices.

Requirements

  • Support the Director of Database Administration
  • Plan, coordinate, track, and report database administration activities
  • Monitor dashboards, alerts, and incident reports
  • Coordinate backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery activities
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures
  • Provide expert support, analysis, and research into complex problems
  • Collaborate with architecture, application development, and testing teams
