Job Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is seeking a Day Camp Coordinator to provide a safe environment for staff and campers, and to impact the lives of hundreds of campers and staff members each day.

Requirements

  • Experience working with youth is required.
  • Previous camp experience is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • Meets the requirements set forth by the state licensing agency.
  • Documentation of DHS clearance before starting work, and CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Safe certifications are required within 60 days.
  • Complete Blood Borne Pathogens training, Redwoods, and concussion training as required.
