Job Description
The day camp counselor acts as the educational programmer’s aid for the summer day camp, assisting the day camp director with activities and management of children. The helper should plan to assist in set-up and take down of activity stations. May work independently with small groups of children.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Knowledge of behavior management and instructional methods
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and implement a day camp program
  • Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment
