Job Description
Administers summer day camp programs for the City of Ann Arbor, acts as Recreation Supervisor in absence, and takes lead in assisting Recreation Supervisor in administration, management, and operation of the day camp program.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching in a school setting, creating and leading camp programming or coordinating programs for kids.
  • At least 6 months of full-time experience working with children and at least 4 months of full-time administrative experience in an organized camp or related program.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and implement a day camp program.
  • Considerable knowledge in instructional methods and behavior management of children and experience working with children in a recreational setting.
  • Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
