Job Description
Administers summer day camp programs for the City of Ann Arbor, responsible for the day-to-day administration of the camp, care and safety of up to 70 campers, and instruction and leadership in day camp programming.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching in a school setting, creating and leading camp programming or coordinating programs for kids
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and implement a day camp program
  • Considerable knowledge in instructional methods and behavior management of children and experience working with children in a recreational setting
  • Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment
