Role OverviewThe Day Hab Program Activity Assistant aids in the implementation of clinical and individual programs. Provides support to persons served in a day habilitation setting. Assists in case management responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Provides instruction and skill building in various areas, assists in case management, and implements clinical and daily plans for persons served. Maintains documentation and adheres to data collection policies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires knowledge of advocacy techniques, applied behavioral analysis, and crisis intervention techniques. Must be able to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- One year of relevant work experience/training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift at least 25 pounds
- CPR and First Aid certifications within 2 weeks of hire
- Safety Care training within 90 days of hire
