Role OverviewThe Day Hab Program Activity Assistant aids in the implementation of clinical and individual programs. Assists in the daily implementation of DHSP, daily schedule of activities, and recommended plans. Provides support to persons served in a day habilitation setting.
What You Will Do
Provides instruction and skill building in various areas, assists in case management responsibilities, provides input for interdisciplinary team reviews, and implements clinical and daily plans for persons served.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Acts as advocate for persons served, follows policies and procedures specific to the program and Vinfen, and actively works toward community integration of persons served.
Requirements
- One year of relevant work experience/training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift at least 25 pounds
- CPR certification within 2 weeks of hire
- First Aid certification within 2 weeks of hire
- New Employee Training (NET)
- Safety Care certification within 90 days of hire
