Role Overview

Provide care to health-impaired older adults or individuals with brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, emotional or behavioral disabilities, or mental health diagnoses in a community-based Day Program.

Assist with daily care, implement activity programs, and provide guidance with social skills, advocacy, and self-esteem.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Minimum one year of experience providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Proficiency in vital signs, weights, ADLs, and independent ADLs
  • CPR and First Aid certification
