Role OverviewCommunity Support Services of Missouri (CSS) supports children and adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities. The Direct Support Professional provides high quality, person centered, hands on support to individuals with a variety of developmental and/or physical disabilities.
What You Will Do
Provide hands-on support including assistance in all activities of daily living as identified by an individual's habilitation team. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation, assistance with personal hygiene, and companionship. Review and implement Individualized Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans (BSP).

Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Proof of current auto insurance
- Dependable transportation with functioning heat and air conditioning and fully functioning seat belts
- Pass all required federal, state and agency background checks
- Obtain and maintain required training including CPI Association requirements for physical intervention, CPR, First Aid Training, Medication Administration, ABA principles and implementation techniques
- Prefer one (1) year experience working with individuals with disabilities
