Role OverviewThe Dayside Senior Producer will shape and energize daily newscasts with strong editorial choices, urgency, and accuracy. They will work hand-in-hand with the Executive Producer to ensure the linear and streaming-only products beat the competition and serve the community.
What You Will Do
The Senior Producer will collaborate with producers, inspire and motivate a team, guide editorial decision-making, and head up assigned special projects. They will also demonstrate professionalism and composure under constant deadlines and pressure.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or related or equivalent years of experience
- 5 years of news content experience
- Top-notch communication skills
- Solid journalistic judgement and a news philosophy that emphasizes breaking news, accurate, fair, and unique local content, along with community engagement
- Understanding of the tenets of professional journalism
- Organizational skills and the ability to work under time-pressure deadlines
- Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations and changing events
- ENPS and Edius system experience preferred
