Job Description
DCAS Police is responsible for security at DCAS owned, managed and/or leased properties throughout the five boroughs. The selected Supervising Special Officer will fill the position within the LOS DCAS Police and will be responsible for command operations in assigned borough, maintaining working relationships with agency liaisons, and providing on-the-job and field training/guidance for lower ranking personnel.

Requirements

  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a state's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
  • One year of fulltime satisfactory experience in the field of law enforcement, protection or security
  • Qualification to serve as a Peace Officer, certification, and maintenance of certification for the duration of employment
