Job Description
The DCFS and Probation System Liaison will utilize culturally-relevant active listening and motivational interviewing skills to identify possible supports for system-involved youth. They will liaise with DCFS and Probation Camp staff to provide technical assistance and participate in Discharge/Transition planning meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sociology or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a case manager
  • 13 years experience working with youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  • Strong commitment to social justice
  • Knowledge and experience working with co-occurring populations
  • Knowledge and experience with motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Must have valid CA Drivers License and a clean driving record
