Role OverviewThe DCS Maint Specialist- Solar reports to the engineering manager, Solar and Energy Storage Operations. This individual is responsible for maintenance and technical support of all Solar Digital Control/Computer Systems (DCS), and other Solar wide Process Control systems. Technical support includes training and assisting all Maintenance, Operating, Engineering and Management personnel that utilize the Digital Control Systems.
What You Will Do
On an on-going basis ensure the Solar Digital Process Control/Computer systems are maintained and running properly. Initiate all necessary repairs or as needed manage maintenance of said systems. Provides day-to-day operational and maintenance support to local personnel for all Solar Process Digital Control/Computer systems and subsystems on an as needed basis.

Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of controls experience working in a Process Plant Control environment
- At least 2 years’ experience in developing, changing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DCS logic
- Maintaining, replacing, and repairing Distributive Control System (DCS) hardware
- Installing and maintaining 3rd party software applications
