Job Description
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Employment Specialist – Central NJ (Middlesex and Mercer Counties) to provide person-centered employment services for individuals who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, or hard of hearing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field with one year of experience, an AA degree with two years of experience, or a high school diploma with three years of experience.
  • Fluent in ASL.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Expertise in hearing loss and workplace needs, with skills in addressing business requirements and evaluating job performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and adapt training to individual needs.
