Job Description
Whitley Penn is seeking a Deal Advisory Services Senior Associate to participate in and lead financial due diligence engagements related to mergers and acquisitions, analyze financial/operational results of target companies, and provide advisory services to clients to assist them in maximizing their financial opportunities and manage the risks involved with possible mergers and acquisitions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred
CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred
2-3 years of experience in one of the following areas with a public accounting or advisory firm: accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction advisory services experience
Strong current knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), mergers and acquisitions, or transaction services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
