Role OverviewThe Dean of Nursing is responsible for providing vision, leadership, and management for the College of Nursing. The Dean works with Program Directors to supervise all program activities, curriculum, and faculty assigned. This position is based in Louisville and requires regular travel to the Lexington location throughout the quarter.
What You Will Do
Develops, implements, and administers goals and processes that facilitate and assess continuous improvement of all programs and student learning outcomes in accordance with program assessment plans. Oversees the development and maintenance of area specific curriculum in cooperation with the respective faculty, the Provost, and the Curriculum Committee.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Master's degree in a related field, an active KY or multi-state unencumbered registered nursing license, and extensive practitioner and leadership experience. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are required.
