Role OverviewThe Dean of Students will lead the implementation and effective leadership of Positive Behavior Incentives and Support systems (PBIS), scholar culture and climate initiatives, routine and procedural management, safety, and scholar discipline. This role will provide training and leadership for staff and scholars with PBIS initiatives, collaborate with the PBIS Committee, and assist administration in monitoring accountability of scholars' behavior.
What You Will Do
The Dean of Students will prioritize redirection of behaviors to minimize loss of scholar instruction time, ensure compliance with classroom exclusion and suspension expectations, and develop measures to achieve effective implementation, proper evaluation, and continuous improvement of PBIS initiatives and behavior management.

Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Administrator's License in the state of operation
- Experience in turnaround work strongly preferred
- Strong belief in the learning potential of all scholars
