Role OverviewBlitt & Gaines, P.C. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collector to join our dynamic Collections team. In this role, you will represent our firm and its clients by managing and recovering past-due accounts while maintaining a professional, respectful, and customer-centric approach.
What You Will Do
Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced collections environment, negotiate payment arrangements and settlements, and ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state laws.

Requirements
- Previous collections experience required
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in collections, customer service, sales, call centers, or QA is a plus
- Familiarity with collections software and systems (e.g., CLS, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Solid understanding of federal and state debt collection laws, including FDCPA
