Decorator

As a Decorator at Brookshire Grocery Company, you will utilize creativity and technical skill to plan and decorate bakery products, assist with day-to-day bakery operations, and promote customer service.

What You Will Do

Prepares, ices, and decorates cakes and other baked goods for display or customer requests, identifies and blends icing colors, and selects decorating materials and tools.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED
• Six or more months of related experience
• Food Handler certification
• Decorator certification desirable
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to use precision hand tools for decorating, carving, sculpting, etc.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain department equipment
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners
• Ability to work well with fellow partners and promote a team environment
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
